Door system

Smart glass for architecture, business and home
Offer / moving partitions and doors
A switchable leaf can connect a living room and office, meeting room and workspace, bedroom and bathroom or dressing room and interior. We engineer the pane, movement system, connection and controls together so the door moves freely and wiring remains protected.

Application context
Switchable glass is laminated to final size. Sliding doors require dimensions, holes, handles, opening direction, parking side, full travel and stop positions before manufacture. Changing hardware after glass approval may require a new pane.
The connection must not hang freely, rub against frames, be pinched or carry the door’s stopping force. We engineer its glass exit, controlled allowance, movement radius and fixed building connection. Mechanical stops halt the leaf before the cable.
Doors can use a local switch, remote, app or agreed automation. Automatic switching after closure needs reliable leaf-position information. We also define power-loss behaviour; PDLC returns to frosted without power.
From function to detail
These decisions cannot safely wait until installation. Each affects manufacture and use.
We confirm track, carriages, capacity, glass support, handles, lock and cable-integration route.
Drawings show closed, open and intermediate positions. The parking side usually defines the logical connection edge.
All holes, cut-outs and corners appear on the manufacturing drawing. Finished active glass is not cut or drilled on site.
We select route, protection and allowance so every cycle avoids pinching, twisting, rubbing and sharp bending.
We define whether glass state is independent of door position or linked to a sensor, room automation or scene.
The power supply and fixed connection remain accessible without dismantling walls, door pockets or joinery.

Delivery process
We receive plans, opening dimensions, proposed system and every leaf position.
We coordinate size, processing, active edge, cable exit, hardware, stops and power route.
We install and adjust the leaf while protecting the connection through its full travel.
Handover includes repeated full openings, end positions, cable observation, both glass states and every control.
Important before deciding
A moving leaf repeats every error in every cycle.
Solution variant
Selection is confirmed after reviewing dimensions, construction, privacy extent, light and installation.

FAQ
Yes, after confirming construction, hardware, dimensions, processing and a safe connection route for the specific system. Installation scope is project-specific.
Part of the connection must accommodate the engineered leaf movement. Routing depends on door system, travel and active-edge location.
Feasibility requires review of the pocket, collisions, cable route and service access. Connections cannot be sealed without inspection access.
Yes, when the project includes reliable position detection and agreed logic, while retaining predictable local control.
Mechanical door movement depends on its system, while PDLC turns frosted. This state is included in the room scenario.
