Switching takes a second. A sound project starts much earlier.
Switchable glass is not a ready-made screen added at the end of a project. Dimensions, active area, wiring, power supply and controls must work with the frame, electrical design and the way the space will be used.
DGF therefore carries the solution from functional review to commissioning. Technology remains discreet while the user sees clean architecture and one simple privacy action.

How does DGF switchable smart glass work?
An active PDLC layer changes how light is scattered when power is applied. The pane switches between clear and frosted, obscuring recognisable images without mechanical blinds.
Is the glass made to measure?
Yes. Dimensions, shape, active area, any zoning and cable direction are defined before manufacture. A finished active pane cannot simply be cut to size on site.
Does the frosted state provide blackout and sound insulation?
No. The frosted state transmits diffused light and manages views, not sound. Blackout and acoustics must be designed separately for the complete partition.
When should DGF become involved in a project?
Before final panes and frames are ordered and services are closed. Cable routes, power supplies, controls and service access can then be coordinated cleanly.
